Though 55 percent Cab and 36 percent Merlot (the rest is Cab Franc and Petit Verdot), the Merlot provides a lot of influence making for a blend lacking in complexity but still quite nice. Opens up nicely with air. December 2025.

Had heard this was ready to drink with a good decant, but it stayed somewhat closed all of day 1. Day 2 it returned with a vengeance and an ample bouquet of cassis, currant, graphite, and spice box. Will be even lovelier eventually.
