Palate is lithe and fresh, very smoky with plenty of earth and leather, irony, medium concentration and length. Nose is much stronger than palate, lovely aged drop but not a blockbuster nor worth holding further. Drink er' up! 1999 vintage.

Cedar box with spice and slightly preserved plum and cherry. Fair depth on a mid-palette that shows a little more dark fruit and chocolate. Smooth, long finish with prune, cranberry, and clove. Drinking well but will probably peak over the next 5-7 years.
