Changing its color at pouring from red ~ purple ~ garnet. Oak aroma, black currant ample aroma coming from glass. Still young? A bit spicy. Mid concentration. 8.8 at first day. Next day, finally realized that’s nice! This concentration and deep black fruits flavor should be owned by good Pomerol. I don’t know we can feel the same by a few hours decant in first day, but in the young vintage, enough decanting in decanter would be necessary. @8683, Raku - JH, 181229-190202

Wonderful wine that is another expression of the region. More aromatic and floral than the clinet. Nicely structured.

A terrific effort for the vintage, with surprisingly bright and sweet black currant playing very nicely off gritty tannin in a very nice duet. I don't know how long this precarious balance will hold, but it will be a lot of fun while it lasts.
