What it lacks is any long tasting finish. As to being a hot vintage….you’d never know. Some current reviews suggest more time in the bottle. The bones of this wine would suggest otherwise.

Does NOT show like a 14 year old wine. On the nose, dark fruit, cassis, pencil lead. In the mouth bigggg dark fruit, cassis, leather, some unresolved tannins. Long finish. Good mouthfeel. Needed 2+ hours in a decanter to open up after shutting down after a brief open period. Very nice, slightly more modern.

17.5/20 (93/100) Богатый аромат с нотами ментола, кедра, кожи, черничного и вишневого варенья. Довольно тельное с высокой кислотностью. Насыщенное во вкусе. Отлично!
