I was so excited for this as it was given as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately the cork was bad and it was disappointing. Rating is difficult Sad

I remember drinking this wine almost 20 years ago when I first started understanding wine. It was amazing then and does not disappoint today. The nose is beautifully perfumed and enticing. Despite the cork crumbling, this wine is still beautiful and has a number of years left.

Lovely and bordering on geriatric. Like a spry grandmother. A little bit of dried fruit, a little bit of leather and spice, a little bit of perfume from yesteryear. Good balance overall.
