Excellent right from the bottle, don't decant this gem! Has a nice tobacco finish, must be the merlot coming through. Just lovely!

This wine made Susan's face flushed and red.
French wines are not my favorite.. This 1996 was really smooth .. Low in tannins.. Good fruit.. Was great with fried chicken
