Lovely mature Right Bank aromas and flavors of burnt Demerara, pluots, wrapper leaf and roasted capsicum. A bit one-dimensional and stripped on the palate, which appears to be from an unfortunate choice to heavily filter. Still, a nice, drinkable Pomerol.

Balanced on a pin. Big, rich merlot fruit with pencil and cedar under, a dash of if baking spice, intensely flavored, med body, velvet soft tannin, long finish. Happy fuckin new year!
