Light, not terribly dry. Plum-y. Liked, but wanted more punch to the flavor.

Good, solid Haut Medoc. Deep purple color. Aromas composed of plums, purple fruits with undefined of all/gravel and just a hint of violet/floral and herbal notes. Only moderately structured, but should be good for 3-5 years plus.

This has already thrown a lot of sediment. Decanting necessary. This wine seems like a hybrid of Bordeaux and Northern California Cabernet, but actually in a good way. Deep nose of ripe cassis and dark chocolate. Ripe and youthful in the mouth. Cassis, baker's chocolate, and a brambly underbrush note. Very Alexander Valley. Rich but bone dry. Decent acids and loads of soft tannin. This will age nicely for a few years.

50% cab sav and 50% merlot, from a Crus Bourgeois in Bordeaux. It starts off with plums, dark berries and quickly transitions to earth notes, good tannins and acidity. Problem is that the taste drops off too quickly and becomes a bit flat. It’s an enjoyable wine but for the price point you can find much better.

Hmm super light bodied.. you’d better open it about two hours before enjoying it, otherwise the flavor is very minor, and the after taste (fruity) would be super strong and unbalanced IMO
