2006. Very solid wine, though still quite tannic. Tannins are mellowed a little by the Merlot in this wine that seems to give it a smoother overall feel. Dark dark fruit with a not so subtle overriding earthiness

Very earthy on the nose and in the glass with tight tannins suggesting more cellaring of this vintage would be beneficial. Dark fruit and vanilla (from the oak) are nicely integrated against the tannic structure. For an off vintage year this wine is surprisingly pleasing!

45+ minute decant. Dark purple color. Phenomenal nose that is classic French with nice smoke and oak. Wine is lovely with more earth and tar than fruit. Wine does lack depth and finish is medium minus. I’m a fan, but probably a little over priced.

Blackberry and tannins. Lovely nose on it, dry tannic finish. Quite a tasty number
