Château Bellevue
Red Bordeaux Blend

Deep Ruby, mostly Merlot blend, with simple aromas of red berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate black fruits spicy notes. Lively acidity, firm tight tannins, short finish. Just ok! Drink now!!

On the hunt for a table wine to serve to at a party of pretentious seniors with undiscriminating pallets. This bottle gets high marks for it's seemingly respectable label design. It's not thin either, but the green/stemmy taste never abates.

Cherry cobbler nose. Spice. Red raspberry, a little iron and cedar

This is a savory #bordeaux blend - 65% #merlot, 25% #cabernetsauvignon and 10% #cabernetfranc - reserved cassis, black olive, charcuterie nose. Palate continues with that demure dark fruit, leather, vegetal notes but missing some acidity and concentration; finishing with sturdy tannins that linger. Great wine to pair with red meat dishes. Satisfying QPR for ~$12 at Total Wine.

A little bit to merlot for me! Very smooth but now my flavor profile. Kinda licorice like

Jan 30th, 2021We’ve had the 2016 vintage and liked it, so we tried the 2018. Probably liked it even more. Fresh finish, deep purple color, soft fruits. Paired well with both chicken and dark chocolate
