Garnet color with hints of brown. Orange rim. Noticeable color extraction in the tears. Black cherry, strawberry, red cassis on the nose. Also nutmeg, anise, clove, leather, and earth. On the palate, strong acidity and tannins that soften as the wine continues to decant. Lingering baking spice notes and heat on the way down.

Bay leaf & dates on the nose. Taste is a bit less exciting with some rough tannins still, but with a bitterness that draws you in again. Nutmeg
