Deep purplish ruby red. Lush nose with tons of violets, truffles, black currants, tobacco and touch of smoke. Heavy tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Not overly dry with lots of cherries, oak, a little bell peppers, truffles and dark plums. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2040.

Naso molto profumato e delicato.
Molte Leggere sfumature ma poco definite, comunque intrigante.
È un vino tutto sull’eleganza, teso e femminile.
In bocca molto esile - forse troppo - per gli standard di qui, ma il risultato è un vino molto complesso che ha tenuto fede all’annata senza forzature.

Wow this is why I need to make money. Lucali SG 1:1, had this with pizza and calzones like an animal. Coffee chocolate leather black fruit oak/ vanilla… all the good stuff. I never really had a first growth ever. Smelled Napa at first but I feel as it softened it became a lot more mellow. Reviews say eucalyptus and I’m finally starting to understand that
