Cuvée Sainte-Anne Brut Champagne Blend

Very enjoyable champagne. It has a tightly wound core and ample minerality that is a slight contrast to a relatively open nose. Super fresh and pure.

This is a lovely NV grower Champagne. Alexandre Chartogne has created a wonderfully crisp citrus and green apple compote in a glass. 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. A bit aggressive on the palate but still thoroughly enjoyable

Balanced and subtle (finesse). Lemon curds and light spiced poached pear. Clean finish. 50/50 Chardonnay/Pinot Noir. Harvest 50% 2015, 50% 2014/2013 Dosage 6 Gr. Disgorged 11/2017. MS

June 2022 disgorgement. Delicious as always.

Glad to revisit after a few years. Not 100% sure, but seems there might be some more energy spent on reserve wines for the blend. Found this to have a much more complete profile and more put together than previous versions of the cuvée. 7/2018 bottling; 12/2019 disgorgement; 5.5 g/l dosage

grower champ consumed w mass amounts of caviar and pals so yeah this was a winner. chalky and precise.

Pronounced bubbles. I tend to like a subtle amount of bubbles so I decanted this. You’re thinking that’s insane, yeah? Always love to see what’s behind the bubbles; that’s where the magic is for me
