v18. Nice. Classic Paso Cab. Soft, dried herb, plum and aged leather nose. Juicy, round black currant and cassis fruit. Velvety, slightly astringent, chewy chocolate and soft leather finish. Nicely balanced.

So this is a solid, good pinot that is priced well at $21 but at 15% abv it gets a bit hot, not to mention took about 30 or so min to open up.

Although I am not a connoisseur, this wine does not seem to posses a well-balanced acidity despite of the winery claim. Pleasant to start, however a bit acid towards the end.
