Paired this lovely Chardonnay with shrimp and scallop scampi. Bursting with lemon and mineral notes. No oak influences appreciated in this wine. Another score at the grocer going out of business sale. A fun and refreshing summer sipper. Great entry level Chardonnay with excellent QPR, even at full price.

Jun 30th, 2018Acquired for 14$. Nose: sharp aromas of golden crisp apples, ripe pineapple, and mushy pears. Combines into some green funk. Palate: lemon zest, bitter tangerine, and very green Taiwanese guava, very refreshing! Finish: crisp minerals, brisk and short. Yummy, bang-for-your buck Chardonnay that’s not too special, but reliable. Less funk and more integrated the next day.
