Thought it was Barossa Shiraz when tasted blind. Opulent blackberry fruit wrapped with sweet spice and touches of earth. Perhaps a touch too oaky for me (apparently it wasn't like this at all in 2011 - was more elegant upon release), but very well made and good for those exuberant occasions.
