A standup '97 Bordeaux style fine tasting Cabernet. With plum, dark prune, raisin overtones followed by sharp clove and an aged mustiness that is quite good. Overall drinking well, subdued tannins but still present. Elegantly paired well with pheasant in brown gravy.

Plummy mouth feel with tannins despite 18 year age. Very drinkable but with out real distinction but could perhaps have aged a few more years. Classic cab in the old style.
