Family Reserve Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark cassis, spice box, expresso roast, grilled meats, baking spice, leathery, tobacco, dark earth. Soft rounded finish.

A good example of how a great wine can be crafted in a weak vintage. Howell Mountain fruit at it's best. Black cherry, blackberry, bell pepper, sweet spices and cedar. Outstanding effort.

Dark plums and hints of floral aromas. Dark plums, blackberries with grippy tannins. Lots of flavor and texture.

It's a baby, but this Cab from @CharlesKrugWine is drinking well now harmonious black cherry, blackberry, cassis, dried herb character.

Really drinking well tonight. Black and blue fruits on the nose and the palate. This one pours very dark to the glass. Entry is dark, blackberry but a hint of iodine, pepper. And that's just the entry! The middle of this wine is where a bit of an herbal note shows, but mostly black and blue fruits with some toasted walnuts. Finishes dark, deep, black licorice, black pepper on top of a great core of black and blue fruit. Has a touch of vanilla extract on the finish. This wine has many years to go. @Ryan Vento this is definitely one worth acquiring!

Awesome wine! Very complex and well balanced with fruit undertones.

Strong oak, green pepper, cedar, cherry and alcohol on the nose; fairly abrasive. The palate is very rich with spices, tobacco, and faint blackberry. Needs a bit nore acid to balance out. Firm tannis. Chocolate covered strawberries and spice medium finish. Good, but unbalanced.

Great Howell Mt fruit! Big bold dark flavors. Blackberry, currant, leather, tobacco. Beautiful rich tannins that will rip the enamel off all the while inviting you back for more.
