If you like northern-rhone style Syrah, this is the value of the year. Tons of black pepper and game notes with a really high tone, dark fruit accenting the whole thing. It has just enough body to keep it approachable and in balance. Only 15 dollars, are you kidding me!

A great Syrah! Vin de Pay, but shows true Syrah character. Strong black pepper nose. Moderate density in the glass. Assertive structure with bitter boysenberry seeds, raspberry, underlining pepper and fine tannins. Diverse. Opened 4/24/15

Great northern Rhône vin de pays. Silky texture, black pepper, dark fruit, some heat on the finish. Solid tannins and structural balance. Tremendous value.

Nice surprise! Raspberries, cooked cherries and black pepper. Tobacco and brown sugar on the finish. Great find at this price point.
