Tonight's wine is a Champagne, Charles Ellner NV Brut Rose Champagne.
Upon opening there are definite fruit notes. Nice strawberry, raspberry, a big yeasty component, toast, burned sugar and a bit of minerality.
On first sip there is lip smacking strawberry, tart cherry, a bit of toast and minerality.
On the higher side with the acid with a clean fresh mouth feel and long staying power on the tongue.
A very nice champagne that can be drunk alone or with others.
