Hmmm. Not for me. Some reduction and not very integrated.

Bright, sour cherry, touch of oak. Classy stuff from the dream team of Ligier-Belair and Etzel

I really the the philosophy behind these wines. Made by Mike Etzel and Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, the fire comes from Jory soils, the flood from willakenzie . A powerful, big, and unmistakably new world pinot -- but remarkably balanced and not without grace. Fleshy raspberries, cinnamon, and scorched earth. I could drink many of these -- if however they weren't so aggressively priced...

Great Pinot. Very high toned friuit. Silky texture. NOT 2 messengers. This is Chapter 24, the Liger-Belair, Etzel collaboration.

Opened the bottle for a turkey birthday dinner and didn’t enjoy as much as the Ken Wright Pinot Noir we served as well. Enjoyed more with pork tenderloin a subsequent night ($40).

I tasted the sour, not my favorite Pinot Noir with Thanksgiving turkey. Fortunately we had opened other selections. ($40)

Wow, much better than my last btl and absolutely fulfilling the promise I felt this showed in 2014. On the nose: asian spice, black pepper, ripe pomegranate seed, wild strawberry, and a touch of soft leather. On the palate: lovely black pepper spice and wild strawberry, fantastic acidity, ad lovely density on the spicy and wild strawberry/black raspberry finish.
