2011. You might be thinking, 2011, cab franc. I'll bet it's lean, green, and possibly mean. If you thought that, give yourself a big hit in the head. This wine is five years in and still super primary. Concentrated, complex, balanced, and damn tasty. Rich, with great acid, soft tannins, and a deep, supple finish. Needs a few more years in bottle before it starts to truly unfold.

Aromatically reminiscent of a St Emilion in a great year. Rich mouthfeel with beautiful balance and length. Kudos to Phil Titus on this beautiful effort.

The 2011 Cabernet franc had green bell pepper floating above dark ripe fruit. Light oak treatment didn't get in the way of fantastic aromas/taste. Super bottle of wine.

A real treat brought for us by Cyril--lush red fruit and candied flowers, with soft green bell, lavender, and Earl Grey tea aromas. Velvety.

From the "bastardized " vintage comes this 2011 Franc that has a great blackberry, toasted oak core. Ripe berry and spice towards the finish. Still has tannin on the finish but definitely softened after 2 hours. Surprised at the youth and complexity here.
