First of many experiences with Chappellet to come. Nose starts with fresh raspberry and plum, then intermingles with cedar and pencil lead notes - elegant mountain fruit is evident.. Palate is smooth as heck with dark fruit and sweet cherry cola nuances cutting through silky tannins. So glad I have a 2nd bottle to sit on. Philly T does it again!
