2024 spring / summer. Noticeable volatility make this taste “typically” natural - good but hard to tell it’s red Burgundy specifically let alone Pommard, which seems a bit of a shame

Red and dark fruit with touch of earthy minerality. Good balance, fresh & puristic. Classic Pommard offering more weight and power.
Chanterêves was founded in 2010 by Guillaume Bott (winemaker at Domaine Simon Bize) and Tomoko Kuriyama (ex-winemaker of Friedrich Altenkirch in Rheingau) who describe themselves as ‘négociant-vinificateurs’. Their wines have unmanipulated purity - the yeast is spontaneously fermented, the red wines are not refined or filtered. Produce <30 barrels of red and whites annually. Rating 3,7/5
