Variation 13. I liked this Ripasso blend of Merlot, Dornfelder, and Syrah. It is fruity and rustic, but also different and enjoyable. No one would call it an elegant wine, but it is better than other Long Island wines that try to make French varietals like Cabernet Franc and completely fail.
