Morita Koshu Winery ‘Chanmoris’ 2020: Light-bodied. Low acidity. Pale in color. Nose & palate are similar with mild notes of grapefruit, lemon & green apple. Light minerality. Slight dry finish. This Japanese wine was a new variety & region for me. The wine was refreshing, clean & tasty however felt like a weaker or lower version of a German Riesling. All in all, I liked it but didn’t love it; not really for me but definitely worth a try. Paired nicely with some local sushi takeout. Great weekend to all! Cheers🍷
