The fruit for this wine comes entirely from blocks N and Q, located in the middle of the Santa Maria Bench. Aged for 15 months in French oak (25% new). Ruby with warm red fruit aromas and complex spice. On the palate raspberry and cherry flavors, pepper and herbs, savory with smooth tannins. Lingering finish ending with earthy oak. 24 Barrels produced. Tasting Sample.

Started out like a dead ringer Burgundy. Won't be a long term keeper but drinking well. Green all the way through with a well structured acidic finish. 2 hours in it started to go flat.
