Chalk Hill
Estate Red Cabernet Sauvignon Blend
Too early for this although it's delicious. Lots of oaky tannins and cherry, blackberry, currant and vanilla. Next bottle in 2020

Nov 10th, 2013“Chewable” Red (which is good) but brighter than expected with the Malbec and Merlot coming through strong. Amazing after opening up for a bit - even at 11 y/o. Can imagine it would be fantastic at 15+

Apr 3rd, 2020Always loved Chalk Hill wines though my tasting experience at the winery was atrocious. Plenty of supple tannins and balancing acidity. Soft red and black fruit, nothing overdone. Nicely integrated oak.

May 30th, 2016Tried this abt 18 months ago & it was wonderful. Wine seller said it's even better when aged longer so I'm patiently (or impatiently as the case may be) waiting for it to age a bit longer.
