Mara Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Corvina Blend

Big spicy cherry nose. The palate displays dark cherry, tobacco, dark chocolate, oak, plum, and leather. Medium plus tannins, moderate alcohol, and high acid.

Great flavor and body. Smooth and velvety, with notes of fruit and spice, great with a steak.

Don’t stand out, but good enough with Italian food. I think it quickly opened up to oliveness.

Tasty Bright fruit up front, some tobacco and herb after a decant

Has a bit of a spicy note. Paired wonderfully with Matt's lasagna

Delicious ripasso! Full bodied, with a mellow taste. Very drinkable.
