Classico Amarone della Valpolicella Corvina Blend

A blend of 75% Corvina, 20% Rondinella & 5% Molinara, deep Ruby with distinctive raisined berry fruit flavors and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with vanilla spice, nicely balanced with soft and smooth warming tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, licorice and tobacco. Drinking well now. Nice!

Rich and layered and gobs of fruit with cut and acidity, nice finish. I forget how good these can be.

3/19. Paired well with the NY strip. Even with the bacon jam on the steak. Good flavor and feel.

Deep ruby color. Aromas or blackberries, dark chocolate, dirt and clove. Loads of crushed cherry, jammy blackberry on the palate and a velvety texture.

Celebration with best friends. Produced from dried grapes cultivated in the historic Classico area of the appellation, Cesari Amarone is extensively aged in a combination of French and Slavonian oak barrels for a total of 3 years following fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It’s a rich, warm, harmonious Cesari’s flagship wine. The bouquet is marked by cherry and prune aromas and jammy notes followed by toasted nuances and hints of vanilla. A long and persistent finish is defined by bold tannins that elegantly coat the palate.

Layered nose of espresso, dark chocolate, acacia, clove, and dried blackcherry. Rich and vibrant on the palate bursting with mid-palate plum and cherry fruit. Leather and tar lead on to a generous finish with integrate tannins. Drink now with a decant or hold for 10 more years.
