Crisp, bright, zippy acidity dancing across the palate. Very early, but nice foil for the richness of Roast chicken with dressing, egg noodles, and thick creamy gravy. Comfort food masterpiece.. and the wine cuts the fat and offers up citrus, apple, pear notes. Amazing balance, with authority snd power and a 40 second finish. The wine really starts to strut its stuff as it warms. Perhaps my favorite domestic chard/ Pinot producer. Bravo.

The nose takes some time to open up, but when it does it’s delicate and complex, with notes of wet stone, tart green apple and fresh, cold, unripe pear. The bouquet has notes of almond, and the flavor is bold and lingering, with pear, and stone fruits
