2019 - this was what I was waiting for in the 2019 lineup! One of my favorites from Ceritas so far. Rich and mineral nose; and that compelling combination of acid + stone fruit/melon on the tongue. Floral and bright with layers to explore once it’s open 30 minutes.

Served cool not cold (by chance) and that worked for this wine. Very complex, lots of mineral and some citrus notes. Very good stuff.

Beautiful crystalline pale green/yellow color, with more golden hues. Light to medium bodied, with a prominent mineral nose, with strong green apple, slightly briny, with ripe yellow notes subtle and deep, with very well hidden baking spices. The acidity has already softened significantly, but there’s still a lingering energy there. Very dry, with hints of old shells, yellow fruits, even some jammy elements, even yellow apple, with only a hint of funk, but it’s all pure.

A quite interesting and positively delicious Chardonnay from Ceritas. Somewhere between premier cru Chablis and puligny by way of the Sonoma coast. Dense and mouth filling, but with purity and refreshing fruit and acid profile that still feels light on its feet. Very nice and one of my favorites from Ceritas.
