One of the top vineyards in Barbaresco. Tar aromas with fungal mushroom notes. Earthy flavours with assertive tannins. Perfect food wine.

Sep 28th, 201514.5%. My palate has evolved since purchasing this from Ceretto last year, and by drinking this now i'm in essence ejecting it from my cellar. Very cherry liqueur, gigantic fruit and slight astringent tea (the tea astringency will sort itself out with time I'd wager), actually just barely fails to play nice with porcini pasta. Enjoyable on some level; punitive on another. I'm not into S&M, so, not for me. It's overwrought.
