Les Paradetes Conca de Barberà Grenache Blend

Medium ruby red with a touch of sediment. A bit of dirty cellar on the nose to start then opens up with some earthiness, dried cherries and truffles. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium plus acidity. Notes of earth, dried cherries, herbs, and forest floor. Long and dry finish. Drink till 2021.

Just mentioning Juan Ramón Escoda makes me hungry.. 09 paradetes shows that "natural wine" can taste perfectly clean...

Pricy but soulful. A little va but in a good way.

Sadly this bottle passed it's prime and was highly sedimentary, but maintains some tannic structure, dark berries, prune, black peppercorn, and cherry. Bit of mold on the cork told the story of a marvelous life.

Lots of cool, plummy fruit, beetroots, sweet spice and wet tobacco. Generous with good structure but a bit anonymous.

Candied red fruit and cinnamon spice - tart, stewed red fruit... Fun one.

Very earthy and cherry in flavor - natural wine from a small winemaker outside Barcelona.
