We came to Priorat for the wine and this 100% carignan is a great example why. Mineral but balanced, dark mixed berry but not fruit forward or jammy, a smooth finish that lingers. Priorat vines struggle in the slate and produce wines I do much enjoy.

This wine is already at its peak or maybe starting to decline. The winemaker told me to drink this wine soon because there isn't any sulfit in this wine.... He's wright. Of course he is. Within one year there is a huge difference. Nice Llicorella smell but a little shortage in the mid palate. Drink it now!
