The Cremant is a quintessential aperitif, nearly unavoidable part of a dinner in Burgundy. Flamboyantly effervescent, beautiful in color, easily enhanced by a drop of Cassis. Very enjoyable straight as well, dry, with muted flavors of cranberries and strawberries on palate, with reasonably long finish.
