Viognier

Very slight reduction gives this wine a very French character. Perfect with paella.

Intensely floral, lemon and pear also show, this seems richer, fatter, and rounder than the 2021, lingering finish, very fine CA Viognier!!

Lemon, floral, mineral, slightly honeyed, lovely texture and cleansing acidity, this should continue to age gracefully for 2-3 years, my favorite domestic Viognier, kudos to Jonathan!

Super floral, pretty, some lemon and faint pear, mineral aromas and flavors show with aeration, I so love this Viognier (75 cases in 2022, barely more in earlier years), and after 20+ years of drinking the various vintages of this wine, kudos to Jonathan and the “Susans” for making a consistently wonderful foothills Viognier year after year!!

Less honeyed than the 2020 from earlier tonight, but way more youthful with better acidity, mineral and nice lemon aromas and flavors, this should easily keep 2-3 years, longish finish, very nice!!

Beautiful honeyed and floral notes in this Sierra Foothills Viognier, nice balance, medium-long finish, lovely but I think I need to drink the few other bottles I have in the next year or so.

I’m finicky when it comes to this variety so I tend to shy away from it. Well, after a few minutes with this nice offering from Cedarville I might be more trusting. At $20 it’s not designed to wow, but it’s clean and refreshing and a pleasure to drink. Good acid and texture bring you back for more. Its 14.3% abv isn’t hot on the finish but a glass or two will certainly warm you up.
