Cedar Creek Estate Winery
Platinum Block 4 Pinot Noir
2016 was a warm year in the Okanagan Valley.
Block 4 shows more red fruit compared to Block 2 which is blue fruit inclined.
The vines are 23 years old.
Dark cherry red in the glass with earthy flavours of cherries, dark raspberries, dried herbs and anice.
This wine has a lingering finish that stays for with you for several minutes. We pizza from scratch (our own dough) with local Matsutake mushrooms and thinly sliced local duck breast.
Life is good.

Aug 14th, 2019Decent Pinot. Tons of competitors and need to get a block batch. Needs some age.
