I am not a fan of Italian wines but Cecchi Sangiovese is consistent and solid. Smooth and great with seafood pasta.

Nutty and robust nose. Lots of oak. Slight Madagascar vanilla bean when the sweet opens up. The second nose is five minutes later. Smoke, ripened red fruit, and ash. Taste. Very dry. Unripened cherries. Light acid. Lightish legs. Mineral water.

Great wine. Smooth. Very Grenache-ey, but intensity reduced by half. Full bodied. Not watery at all. Great for drinking any time.
