Cayuse Vineyards
En Cerise Vineyard Syrah
1/2 hour decant (some cloudy sediment). A remarkable purplish ruby red color. On the nose: bursting from the glass are notes of dark cherry, iron, smoked meat, that Cayuse funk(luv it), eucalyptus, and floral. Taste: juicy, smooth..drinking beautifully...with cherry, pepper, orange peel, green olives, iron, and a minerally bacon long finish. Kaboom!

Apr 30th, 20212013 vintage. Delicious dark berries with great spice on the finish. A stupidly balanced Syrah considering the extremes

Dec 9th, 2016A friend took one for the team by pulling the cork way too soon on this one. Extremely tight and closed down, suggest you let these sleep for a few years. Rating this on potential. Great structure. Typical En Cerise terroir, this will be great a few years from now. @Dag Zapatero likes them young, but this was robbing the cradle.
