This smells like those old McDonald’s cherry pies on the nose. This was a precursor to the overly sweet wine that was produced in this wine. This is a big chewy sweet Cabernet. More cherry pie and candied blueberry and some sort of spice hits your palate. I am sure many will like this wine. Comes from a top lineage but I am not one of them. Rarely do I not drink the wine offered to me. Sadly this fell in that rare group.
