Getting over hump day with some birth year wine. Your typical alfrocheiro/baga/jaen/tinta roriz and preto mortágua blend. Not much fruit left. All sandalwood and spice. Heard of this one, Portuguese wine expert @Zachary Sussman ?

This is a treat. Aged 35 years in winemakers cellar, then 4 years in ours. Still beautiful. Leather, tobacco, and some hints of soft dark fruits.

16/20 (88/100) Развитой букет ароматов прелой листвы, красных ягод из компота, легкая нота специй. Тельное с высокой кислотностью и слабыми, шелковистыми танинами. Во вкусе проявляются ноты табака. Неплохо сохранилось, но сложностью не отличается.
