Loads of black fruit, herbs and dried leaves. Muscular, grippy tannins are almost overpowering. For a wine from TJ's, it's relatively expensive and not one I'll likely buy again.

Apr 16th, 2015Easygoing red that paired well with a rich cassoulet. The dark and red fruit was subdued, tannins rather smooth and with low to mid acidity. (A richer red would've been too much with the duck confit - this wine reined in the richness)
