Even for 15 dollars at Trader Joe's, this is a pretty terrible wine. The oak is really clumsy and doesn't mix with fruit. Absolutely no verital character.

Straight forward St. Joseph with kirsch, cherry and licorice palate and a funky, fruity, toasted nose. Better with air.

Northern Rhone. Not as dry as their Vaqueyras, but smoother with more balance. Could be a bit more exciting in the middle. Fair value.
