Firm acidity, of course (it’s sparkling after all), Saumur is not Champagne of course, but this is a decent example that should meet anyone’s “everyday” sparkling requirements at a great QPR. Drink it when you buy it. And grab one with the stopper for added value.

Pale pink color with aromas of red berry and citrus notes. On the palate flavors of raspberry and ripe strawberry with citrus zest, vivid acidity, light mousse, crisp with medium finish. Just ok.

Pale goldish pink, citrusy and melony with high raspberry notes. Delicate little bubbles, softly fruity and inexplicably french. I love it.
