Sangiovese

Cave d'Occi Anaguma 2014 Sangiovese
A few small bubbles, not transparent a little uncleared beautiful cherry red or brilliant rouge color. Gradation. Fresh young color.
Toasted bread, butter, cherry, raspberry, mint, yeast, soap, carbonic acid, dried plums.
Vibrant fruitiness, clear and smooth sweetness, good acid, accent of bitterness.
Enjoyable fresh red.

日本のサンジョベーゼ。
2019から飲み続けて3ビンテージ目。
2020がとても良かったので、新ビンテージで試飲。
小梅的な酸っぱい系というのは、どうやらこのワインの共通項みたいだが、今年のは旨味の乗りが悪く、水っぽい。
ちょっとビオビオして還元なニュアンスもある。

去年は小梅チックで少し青さを感じるサンジョベーゼという印象だったのだが、しっかり旨味を感じるザクザク系の薄旨系に。
果実味的な濃度は去年と同じ感じだが、旨味はこのビンテージの方が強くて良かった。

日本、新潟のサンジョベーゼ。
色も淡めで、少しロゼのよう。
小梅のような酸と、細身で凛とした甘味。
タンニンは軽やか。少しトマトの茎的な青さも。アルコール度数12°とスルスル飲める。
値段の割には、表現力というか重奏感に乏しいのは、否めないが、この柔らかさは少しクセになりそう。
発酵的なニュアンス。ハモの梅花ソースとか合いそう。

Comes across as a Sangiovese rose with slight effervescence at the start. A mix of herbaceous, earthy notes along with a bit of light floral sweetness. Still on the dry side on the palate. Fun expression of Sangiovese in Japan.
