Very tasty fruit forward, light red wine for the summer. I am a huge fan of Franc and this reminded me of that fact.

Some lovely fruit and roundness. I am definitely a funk guy with French Cab Franc, but I'll take this.

Dark, Toasty, caramel, hints of cooked red fruit. Lower acid, simple grippy youthful tannin. High value for a riper, modern cab franc.

Juicy elderberry. With hedge and smoke. Taste is fruity. Elderberry with something scented. Not much acid and nice grippy tannins. No tingle. Very fresh and clean tasting. Very nice

October 10, 2018. Saumur Champigny. 100% Cabernet Franc. Lighter bodied. Lovely fruit, opens up nicely. Don’t chill too much. Excellent value at $14. Easy drinking.
