Les Epinats Lieu-Dit Saumur Chenin Blanc

Really nice youthful Chenin Blanc. There's honey, but it's light and inviting with plenty of flint and minerality backing it up. Warm lemons, ginseng, fresh ginger, sweet smelling flowers, peach skin and smoke. Little salinity and finishes on the drier side of Chenin but certainly has its iconic acid. Would pair along side mussels baked with cream and garlic.

Ripe, almost canned apricots & and peach fuzz. Wet rocks, white flowers, & wet grass. Enough acid, & balanced well. Somewhat one dimensional, but tasty, & with plenty of length to the finish.

Light, lean, and it got the funk.

Vibrant with a ways to go. Everything you would expect in a Saumur Chenin.

Superb crisp, grapefruit,, peach, mineralogy

Pleasant enough with good acid but barely any varietal flavor. Would be good to wash down moules et frites.

Good for a white. Tried at el wine chateau

Pale color; light fruit in nose; very mild honied, juicy taste, with lots of smoky minerality and even a little salinity reminiscent of a muscadet; nice acid; short to medium finish. A delicious, light wine.
