A nice Rhône blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Carignan & 10% Cinsault. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits with spicy mineral notes. The palate shows jammy blackberries and black cherries. The wine has ok balance, soft tannins, smooth sweet finished, medium length. Drink now at its best.

2014 vintage. Had some vestiges of good Rhône wine but mostly dried out old fruit. Total Wine off brand.

Most of the complexity is aromatic, nothing too spectacular otherwise, having said that, it’s tasty juice

Nice budget Rhone. Not as earthy as I would have liked, not too complex, but nice. Relatively short finish.

Paired with a perfectly cooked bone in sirloin. Dark fruits, slight anise and oak. Thanks Lish!

A smooth, somewhat dry red from the Rhône with notes of cassis. A good budget wine for feasting.
