2012 vintage in January 2020. Simple but works for my Vacherin Mont d’Or AOP - which calls for a bit in the box warmed in the oven, and in my glass.

Subtle wine, hits of minerality, smokiness and ripe quince. Nice bottle of wi e, esp considering the price.

A clear greenish-gold, the '12 Cave de Lugny Mâcon-Lugny 'Les Charmes - Single Vineyard' emits a wonderful nose of lemon, green apple and a faint whiff of tropical fruit. On the creamy palate a hint of orange zest is detectable on this unoaked Chardonnay. However, a noticeable lack of acidity makes for a flabby finish. Still a tremendous bargain for a summer drinker.
